Breast Cancer Action Activism at its best! This important organization has been on the move since 1990.
Mautner Project for Lesbians With Cancer Washington DC based. Mautner offers resources, support and assistance to lesbians and their families who are challenged with cancer. This site offers facts, directories programs and fundraising info. English and Spanish text.
Lesbian Community Cancer Project (LCCP) LCCP promotes lesbian health with a focus on cancer-related issues. The Chicago USA-based agency provides support, information, education, advocacy, and direct services to lesbian and non-lesbian women and their families of choice.
The Breast Cancer Fund The mission is to end breast cancer and to ensure the best medical care and support for all women. The Fund takes an aggressive stance toward prevention and challenges the established medical community to refocus their research on prevention. The Fund sponsors backpacking trips and mountain climbing expeditions for breast cancer survivors. See their site for details and send them some money while you're there.
National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC) A grassroots advocacy organization dedicated to fighting breast cancer. NBCC was formed in 1991 with one mission: to eradicate breast cancer through action and advocacy.

Bread and Roses A non-profit organization that supports and empowers people who struggle to live well with HIV or AIDS. Bread and Roses serves folk in Fairfield County, Connecticut, also serves the rest of Connecticut and New York.
